Julie is a partner in the Business and Finance Department and a member of the Firm’s Real Estate and Finance Group. Julie’s practice includes property acquisitions, leasing, ground leasing, condominiums, and planned unit developments, where she has worked with multi-family, retail, office and industrial properties. She also has extensive experience in the area of financing, having represented both borrowers and lenders in connection with the origination, acquisition, syndication and disposition of mortgage loans, leasehold financings and subordinate debt, lines of credit, post-closing modifications, and loan sales and purchases.

Julie serves as a member of PIDC’s loan committee, where she assists with the review and approval of their loans to local businesses, developers and non-profits.
Recognition and Accomplishments
Julie was recognized as a 2018 Pennsylvania Rising Star by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers and was selected by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the 2017 Millennials to Watch in Law. In 2020, she was recognized as a “Lawyer on the Fast Track” by The Legal Intelligencer. And, in 2021 was named to the list of “Ones to Watch” by Best Lawyers in America.
Prior to joining Kleinbard, Julie was an associate at Dechert LLP in the Finance and Real Estate Group. She served as a law clerk to Judge Pollak, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and to Judge Shapiro, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
