Kleinbard is pleased to announce that Robert W. Stanko, Anthony L. Gallia, Rebecca Corcoran Swanson, and Rachel Hanscom have joined the Firm. Their arrival allows the Firm to strengthen its litigation, government relations, and business and finance capabilities.

Robert W. Stanko also joins the Firm as a Partner in the Litigation Department. Rob has spent the entirety of his career in civil litigation and counsels companies and professionals across a range of industries on matters in every stage of litigation. Rob works closely with his clients to help them identify cost-effective ways in which to protect their interests, manage risk, and eliminate exposure. After law school, Rob served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas G. Saylor, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Rob has also been named by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the field of Civil Litigation Defense since 2014. Rob earned his J.D. from Penn State University’s Dickinson School of Law and his B.A. from Villanova University.

Anthony is an experienced trial lawyer and joins as a Partner in Kleinbard’s Litigation Department. Anthony serves as lead trial counsel in multimillion-dollar complex disputes in state and federal courts across the United States. He regularly represents clients in matters involving commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, contracts, commercial real estate transactions, products liability, and securities litigation. He is a Hearing Board Member for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. Anthony earned his J.D./M.P.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Akron School of Law and his B.S. from the University of Scranton.

Kleinbard strengthens its Government Relations Practice with the addition of Rebecca Corcoran Swanson as Of Counsel. Rebecca is well versed on a variety of business, civic, and political affairs and helps clients navigate their relationships and interactions with state, local, and federal officials. Prior to joining Kleinbard, Rebecca served as Executive Director of Montgomery County (PA) Redevelopment authority, where she oversaw economic and community development initiatives. Rebecca has also held roles with the City of Philadelphia, Allied Universal and served as an Associate at a Philadelphia-based law firm. Rebecca earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School and her B.A. from Villanova University.

Finally, Rachel Hanscom joins as an Associate in Kleinbard’s Business and Finance Department where she focuses her practice on corporate governance issues, reorganizations, and other legal and transactional matters. Additionally, Rachel represents purchasers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions and investment transactions. Prior to attending law school, Rachel was a management consultant at a leading global consulting firm. In addition, Rachel served as a Judicial extern for the Honorable Megan McCarthy King in the Pennsylvania Superior Court during law school. Rachel earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and her B.A. from Wellesley College.
