PHILADELPHIA, PA – Kleinbard is pleased to announce that Eric Bodzin and Thomas Kennedy have joined the Firm. Eric will serve as an Associate to the Government Relations and Real Estate Practices, and Tom will serve as Senior Counsel to the Firm and a member of the Business and Finance department.

Eric joins the Firm after acting as the Director of Legislation for Philadelphia Councilmember Maria D. Quiñones Sánchez. He is well versed on legislative, fiscal, and policy matters and offers specific insights into issues impacting affordable housing, municipal finance, and economic development in Philadelphia. Eric earned his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University.

Tom served as General Counsel to Versa Capital Management. He brings more than 30 years of experience in law and business, assisting clients in a broad variety of industries with advice on legal matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions, financings, private investments, joint ventures, and business succession. Tom is a graduate of St. Joseph’s University and Washington University Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, and Articles Editor for the Washington University Law Quarterly.

In the past year, Kleinbard has committed to several strategic hires across various practice areas and has welcomed a number of new administrative professionals to the Firm. Most recently, Francis Notarianni, a former Pennsylvania Supreme Court law clerk, joined as an Associate supporting the Litigation, Government Relations, and Political Law groups.
