Jennifer Zegel, a partner in the Firm’s Trusts & Estates practice participated in a webinar hosted by the Society of Trusts & Estates Professionals (STEP). The webinar featured a panel discussion on the research and findings from a recent report titled “Digital Assets: A Call to Action,” published by STEP and the Cloud Legal Project at Queen Mary University of London. The report focuses on what happens to digital assets post-mortem and what actions need to be taken by practitioners, governments, and service providers to manage the risks and enable effective estate planning and administration for digital assets.
