Jennifer Zegel co-authored an article in the STEP Journal on a new tool called the Digital Legacy Scorecard, created by Sharon Hartung and expanded upon by Jen and other members of STEP’s Digital Assets Global Special Interest Group, and used with permission under a license granted to STEP. The Scorecard helps evaluate death and incapacity planning options available for individual user accounts with cloud service providers in order to help practitioners advise clients in this area. The Scorecard rates some of the top service providers in connection with their platform options for preserving, deleting, and transferring a user’s account at death and incapacity.
