Jennifer Zegel, Partner and Chair of Kleinbard’s Estates & Trusts Department, authored an article in The National Law Review on the importance of managing digital assets and digital asset planning. Jen explains that as digital assets become more prevalent, so does the need to plan for these assets or risk financial and sentimental loss. She further emphasizes how practitioners can help their clients by educating them, helping to create an inventory of their assets, delegating wishes for each asset, staying abreast of legal and technical developments surrounding digital assets, and best practices for drafting digital asset provisions.
