Michael L. Kitain

Michael is an associate in the Firm’s Business & Finance group. His practice focuses on advising clients in a variety of transactions and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing transactions and general corporate governance.

Michael has experience representing private equity funds and their portfolio companies, strategic buyers and sellers, venture capital funds and emerging companies across a variety of industries, including technology, healthcare, life sciences, and financial services.

Prior to joining Kleinbard, Michael was an associate in the Corporate & Business Transactions practice group of an international law firm.

Michael is a graduate of Duke University School of Law. During his time in law school, he represented local nonprofit organizations through the school’s Community Enterprise Clinic. Prior to law school, Michael worked as a financial analyst in the secondary mortgage industry.
