Howard Davis, is a managing partner of the Firm and Chair of the Business and Finance Department. He represents clients in a broad range of transactions and acts as outside general counsel to numerous middle market and start-up companies. He has an extensive background in representing buyers/sellers, investors, and issuers in mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures and strategic alliances; and corporate finance transactions. During his more than 30 years of experience, Howard has been involved in more than 300 such transactions ranging from small seed capital investments to billion dollar dispositions.
Steven Engelmyer is Chair of Kleinbard’s Litigation Department. He has over 30 years of experience in all facets of commercial litigation with particular emphasis on insurance coverage, contract disputes, telecommunications, employment disputes, and environmental issues. He represents clients in a broad range of commercial disputes and acts as chief litigation counsel to numerous private and publicly-held companies.
Bernard Kolodner is a partner in the Business and Finance Department and the Practice Leader of the Real Estate Group. He practices in the areas of development, design and construction, purchase and sale, leasing ( landlord and tenant representation), joint ventures and partnerships, financing, zoning, permitting, tax assessment appeals, and charitable exemptions.
