Kleinbard attorney Steve Engelmyer will present a webinar to the Beyond Insurance Academy of Risk on “Understanding the Implications of Sexual Abuse Claims.” The presentation will address issues arising from sexual abuse, including what you can do to prevent sexual abuse by your employees and volunteers and how you can ensure that incidents are reported; the importance of having appropriate insurance coverage for abuse claims; and what to do to when a claim of abuse is made – how to investigate claims of abuse and report and assert a claim for insurance coverage.
Engelmyer is Chair of Kleinbard’s Litigation Department. He has over 30 years of experience in all facets of commercial litigation with particular emphasis on insurance coverage, contract disputes, telecommunications, employment disputes, and environmental issues. He represents clients in a broad range of commercial disputes and acts as chief litigation counsel to numerous private and publicly-held companies.
Kleinbard’s insurance litigation team is currently representing Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association Insurance Company (PMA) in a recently settled complex and protracted litigation involving claims by Penn State arising from the sexual abuse by its former Assistant Coach, Jerry Sandusky.
