Kleinbard partner, Matt Haverstick, was quoted in the Law360 article entitled “Pa. Unclaimed Property Suit Could Spur Delaware Pile-On.”  Haverstick represents the Pennsylvania Treasury in the suing of the state of Delaware over funds that are believed to have been wrongfully appropriated by Delaware.

Haverstick’s practice is focused on representing government officials and entities in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, as well as other state appellate and federal courts, in matters ranging from public corruption investigations to the Right-to-Know Law to the constitutionality of state laws. He has a strong understanding of local, state and federal governments, their stakeholders and the media.  He is well known for his ability to defend important government public policy decisions in front of the Pennsylvania Supreme and Commonwealth Courts.
