Kleinbard Managing Partner Matt Haverstick was interviewed by various publications including, Forbes and Law 360 on the pending federal lawsuit challenging the state’s decision to count incomplete ballots in the recent Senate election. In the lawsuit, Nicole Ziccarelli is disputing state court rulings that allowed the counting of ballots whose outer envelopes lacked dates.
“The Senate did the right thing today by following the rule of law and exercising its constitutional obligation to take up our petition,” said Matt, who is representing Ziccarelli. “And I’m confident it’ll end up with Nicole being recognized as the winner, which she is.”
