Kleinbard LLC partner, Mary Beth H. Gray, was a facilitator and speaker at the 20th Annual Multi-State ESOP Conference scheduled to be held on September 16-17 at the Mohegan Sun Resort in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.  Ms. Gray served as the facilitator for the session “ESOPs for Beginners.”  This session will introduce basic ESOP terminology including definitions, examples and a brief summary of the ESOP calendar.  She will also presented at the session “Re-Evaluating Your ESOP” where she covered the process of evaluating a company’s ESOP.

Ms. Gray is a partner in the Business & Finance Department at Kleinbard LLC.  She focuses her practice on business succession, including the sale of businesses to employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and other transactions involving ESOPs.  She has represented both buyers and sellers in more than 300 transactions involving both equity and assets.  In addition to her ESOP practice, Ms. Gray concentrates her practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions (representing sellers and buyers), corporate finance, corporate governance, corporate restructuring and executive compensation.
