Mary Beth H. Gray, a managing partner of Kleinbard LLC, was a panelist at the Pennsylvania/Delaware ESOP Association Spring Conference on Thursday, March 28, 2019.  Gray’s program is entitled – Evaluating an Offer to Sell an ESOP Company.  The program outlined what an ESOP Company is required to do with an offer, how to evaluate the offer price, and what steps are involved in selling an ESOP company.

Mary Beth is a partner in Kleinbard’s Business and Finance Department.  Her practice has a special focus on business succession, including the sale of businesses to employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and other transactions involving ESOPs. She has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, and has represented buyers and sellers in more than 300 transactions involving both equity and assets. Ms. Gray also regularly advises companies and shareholders with respect to both transactional and operational issues, including corporate governance, stock ownership, succession planning, equity and non-equity compensation, securities law issues, corporate finance, and corporate tax matters.
