Kleinbard LLC’s Julie C. Berson was recently appointed to Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation’s Loan Committee. The Loan Committee reviews and approves PIDC’s loans to local businesses, developers and non-profits.
PIDC is Philadelphia’s public-private economic development corporation. PIDC spurs investments that create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, and drive growth to every corner of Philadelphia. PIDC is a non-profit founded by the City of Philadelphia and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce in 1958.
Julie is an associate in the Business and Finance Department and a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Group. Julie’s practice includes leasing, ground leasing, condominiums, and property acquisitions. She also has extensive experience in the area of financing, having represented both borrowers and lenders in connection with the origination, acquisition, syndication and disposition of mortgage loans, leasehold financings and subordinate debt, lines of credit, post-closing modifications, and loan sales and purchases.
