Jennifer Zegel, a Kleinbard partner and Practice Leader of the Estates and Trusts Group, is scheduled to present at the Upstreme 2019 Blockchain Summit – Beyond the Fog of Crypto-Currencies.  Jennifer’s presentation,”Legal Considerations of Blockchain Technology”, will cover the general legal considerations and challenges that arise when a business is considering implementing blockchain technology.  In addition, the use of public, private, and consortium blockchains will be explored, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each type.

Jennifer focuses her practice on the representation of clients in the areas of trusts and estates, business law, and real estate. She also frequently counsels her clients on business succession planning.  Jennifer has a special focus in estate planning and the estate administration of digital assets.  She is at the forefront of this emerging section of property transfers, which also overlaps and intersects with technology, privacy, and accessibility considerations. Jennifer enjoys advising clients on how to incorporate digital asset planning into an estate plan or business succession plan.
