Howard J. Davis, Managing Partner of Kleinbard LLC, was recently elected to serve as Chair of the Board of the Abramson Center for Jewish Life. Davis has been actively involved with the Abramson Center previously serving as First Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees and Co-Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee.

The Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Life is a comprehensive provider of services to seniors throughout the Philadelphia region. Services include residential care, home care, hospice, post-hospital transitional care, primary care, memory care, geriatric care management, dialysis, counseling and referral, as well as aging research. The Center has spent a century and a half providing seniors in Pennsylvania with enlightened medical care, companionship, unique living environments, educational and cultural enrichment.

Davis, Chair of Kleinbard’s Business and Finance Department, represents clients in a broad range of transactions and acts as outside general counsel to numerous middle market and start-up companies. He has an extensive background in representing buyers/sellers, investors, and issuers in mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures and strategic alliances; and corporate finance transactions. During his more than 30 years of experience, he has been involved in more than 400 such transactions ranging from small seed capital investments to billion dollar dispositions.

In addition to his work with the Abramson Center, Davis also serves on the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and as Co-Chair of the Policy Committee, of the Committee of Seventy and the Board of Trustees of Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
