James Gorman, III
James Gorman is an associate in the Firm’s Litigation Department. His practice primarily focuses on commercial litigation, government affairs, and intellectual property litigation. James regularly counsels businesses, individuals, and government entities regarding complex business and commercial issues, contract matters, internal investigations, and appellate practice. In addition, he often works with clients on matters related to public policy and constitutional law.
James is skilled in all aspects of litigation, ranging from pre-litigation counseling to the courtroom, and he routinely leverages his experience at both the trial and appellate level to advise his clients in a cost-effective manner. He has significant experience representing clients in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
Previously, James also served as a judicial extern for Judge Sue L. Robinson in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, where he worked on a variety of projects, including opinions and memoranda related to patent litigation.
